Chats tonight (Sunday 03/12/2017)

Hey everyone,

Support chat and general chat are running tonight, both from 8-9:30pm.

Support chat: A place to talk about anything on your mind in a safe, supportive environment. Tegan and Becky will be modding.

General chat: A place for more light-hearted chat about pretty much anything be it TV, music, the weather, that hilarious video you saw on YouTube etc. Leanne will be modding.

We've reviewed the feedback we've had from everyone about the chat cap, and after seeing that it was hugely positive (in favour of it), we've decided to keep it on as a permanent thing. It's important to us that these sessions feel as supportive and comfortable as possible, and we're conscious that even when we have three mods, it can still feel a bit too busy to really make the most of the session. Thanks to everyone who gave us their thoughts - they're hugely appreciated. :)

    ... is that page link to the 'old' chat, or, to the new Chatwee? It's a bit confuddling because it's supposed to officially roll out this Wednesday.

    Hey @Princesa, great question! That's the link to the old chat that we will be using for chats Sunday-Tuesday, but this link to the chat rooms will be the same once we launch the new chat software on Wednesday.

    Also, I think that charcoal-black chat skin is going to cause me to struggle. Is there a setting where that blackish background can be replaced by a lighter colour or even white?

    just noticed it... on the join chat page it says the room are open til 9.45 ... does this mean we get an extra 15 mins tonight? :chin: :razz:

    Oops sorry about that Bubbles! Looks like we overly prepared for the Chatwee launch on Wednesday by changing the times for all the chats! I'll make sure the time for tonight's chats are correct, and then for our launch day on Wednesday, chat's will be finishing at 9.45pm.

    Hey @Princesa that's a great question. Changing the colour scheme of chat is something we can do. It's important that chat is easy for everyone to read, so next month we will be asking for some feedback about colour schemes and hopefully we can find a combination that works for everyone :)

    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
