From a different live (poem)

DistractionDistraction Posts: 526 Incredible Poster

(This is a poem about how I felt when I first moved to Scotland to stay with my dad and his girlfriend)

I come from a different live,
Where no pretty flowers grow,
Or cupcakes are made.

I come from a different live,
Where only shadows show the way.

I come from a different live,
Where cupboards are the safest place to stay.

I come from a different live,
Where even monsters are afraid.

I come from somewhere that’s far away,
Somewhere dark and scary,
Where nightmares lay,

I come from a place,
Where no light ever shines,

I come from a place,
Where only demonds can play.

So please don’t judge me when I say,
That this place I have moved to,
Is to pretty for me to stay,

Theres to much of that stuff you call love,
To much family and happy days,

So please just let me crawl back into the shadows,
Where I grew up,
And I’ll be ok,
Or I wont be able to survive another day.
