Chances of pregnancy while on depo shot?

I apologize if there's already a topic on here, I'm new. I'm 20 and I have been on the depo shot for a month now and I'm curious as to what are the chances of getting pregnant with the pull out method? I know neither of these are 100% but I don't like condoms. Me and my guy have already discussed about if I get pregnant. We are clear from stds too. No hate please

    Hi Ninjakitty,

This is quite a difficult one to answer as there are always risks of pregnancy associated with birth control - as you say none are 100% effective! Likewise it is also difficult to determine the chances of getting pregnant from the 'pull out' method as there are so many factors that can differ amongst people for example, how early you pull out etc.

It might be worth having a chat with your GP about the depo as they would be able to give you more information about the effects, but in regards to condoms - they do make lighter, more natural feeling ones so this might be something to look into? I've added a link below for some in case you want to have a look into these as there are some reviews on there also.

I've also added a link below about the 'pull out' method - there are several similar articles online so maybe have a read and see how you feel?

    Hope this helps!
