Has anybody braved the sales yet?

Did you get anything nice?

I actually haven't bothered with them this year.

I got myself a scanner and a Kindle paperwhite. I've had emails from various companies about their sales. But there doesn't seem to be a lot out there. Apart from PC World, (surprised it was dead yesterday!) I've not actually gone out and had a look at anything.

    Ahh that's cool.

I don't have a kindle, I have the kindle app on my tablet. I want to read more in 2016.

I bought some shoes from Schuh online last night and I had to take my parents to the John Lewis sale this morning. I only bought a tube of glue I need for a model (not in the sale, surprise surprise!) but it was crazy busy and people were queueing to get into the car park! I'm trying to stay organised and only buy things I need rather than just buying stuff because, so I haven't really ventured out yet!

Can't stand the sales, I buy far to much, just bought three cosy jumpers, and 2 black skinny jeans, 6 short dresses, because they were pretty and two pairs off shoes, like I'm already poor :(

Went into my local town yesterday and today..Bought next year's Christmas cards, crackers and wrapping paper all ready haha, a fluffly black jumper, sparkly ballet bumps, onesies, make up(finally started to wear it a little)and a few other bits and bobs.

Sales aren't actually great at all this year though to be honest!!

    Thanks for sharing

I've heard quite a lot of people say the sales aren't that good this year tbh. I've preferred staying at home to be honest.

According to the radio on Saturday, some people here (Plymouth) were queueing from 1am on Saturday! Not had a chance to nip into town to see what's there. But there's not much I want or need.

I love bargains- I found a nice bracelete for myself, coincidentally I was told its one of those ones that's supposed to relieve stress- oh and the price was very nice too :d

I'm also going to be busy with my new colouring in books I got in the sales :)

I've yet to go clothes shopping, can't wait to spend my new look voucher which I got for Christmas :p

Got another one of those mixed colouring books, it's called "Creative therapy, an anti-stress colouring book" (got another edition from the same make).

Also bought sacred symbols colouring book (yes I have a fascination with all this type of stuff).

For Christmas I got flower mandals and a vogue coloruing book :)

I now have 7 colouring books lol...... Haven't finished any of them though :hyper:

Ah cool. I have about 3. But I have carpel tunnel so after a while colouring becomes painful for me. As does typing and writing.

It's okay. I am used to the pain now. It's just bad now cos I was on the boards loads yesterday, but its worth it to be there for others and hopefully helping others.

And me! I've just looked at my account o realise that I've quickly spent about £200. Ouch. So glad that when I went into town this morning, I nipped into Sainsburys, picked up a bit of food and that was it. Didn't even think about going where there were actually sales.

I can't help it, I swear my laptop just magically opens up clothes shops websites and forces me to add too much stuff to my bag...

Wifi at home isn't working, nor are phones lines, and some shops aren't taking card as I went to buy cigs but I couldn't because it wouldn't take my damn card, great! #YorkFloods

And I went to buy this jumper I saw yesterday, and like they wouldn't take my card and I wanted to cry because it was so pretty. Many regrets for not buying it sooner.
