Which songs do you think are over-played? For me if I could choose three Last Christmas by Wham, Merry Christmas by Slade and Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin Stevens.
Ones which deserve more airtime are Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses, Love is All Around from Love Actually or Dasher & Blitson by Badly Drawn Boy (plays at the end of About A Boy credits). But let me know your opinions...
Stress from what to get people, what to do during the holidays, worrying about everyone else having a great time and finding it hard to choose a place to eat, buy things, etc as everywhere has lovely things.
And embarrassing things from either my teens and a few years back, having a little too much at a christmas prom-cue the bullies at school took the mick out of my behaviour- and at one of my staff dos at the shop I used to work at throwing up in the bar toilets whilst others laughed and one spiteful colleague even had the nerve to go uugh at me when I said "oh god sorry I think I need to be sick!" before I legged it to the ladies loo. Thankfully a colleague (who I'm still friends with as she's genuine and supportive) asked if I was ok. Luckily I sobered up starfish and still had a good time but the woman who made the insensitive reaction kept muttering to herself Gemmas an embarrassment.
