Christmas gifts on a budget.

Former MemberFormer Member Lyrical PosterPosts: 5,462 Part of The Furniture

Hey Everyone

As Christmas is fast approaching, we thought it would be a nice idea for us to share our tips on Christmas shopping on a budget. I love the idea of DIY presents and I find them very sweet and more personal. That could be one way of spending less at Christmas.

Hopefully together we can help each other with some brilliant tips on how to spend less at Christmas time.

Look forward to seeing your ideas.

Sharing is caring

That would be like a really smart thing to do Louisa, like buying presents for people is honestly leaving me so skint D: - Canny afford anything!! - However, I've bought the odd bits and bops for my friends, etc.

I'm personally planning a last minute present for my boyfriend. I'm going to write him lots of letters with different titles which say "Open When...." and then lots of little things such as:

    - Open when you feel sad
    - Open when you miss me
    - Open when you want to know about our future
    - Open when you need a hug

Etc. Then I think I may include lil funny memories and pictures of us. I'm hoping he'll like it :)

I tend to save up my points on my Boots card so can spend that on presents this year. We have a budget of £15 per person this year.
