Hey when you go to start a thread you should see the little smiley face symbol in a box, on the right hand side, next to the A symbol in the box, if you click the smiley face, then you'll see all the emoji's that you can use.

    Hope this has helped. :thumb:

    Hey apandav,

We've had a look into this and it seems you've found a bug - the advanced text and emoji buttons aren't visible on iPad at the moment. We've logged it with the tech team, so hopefully we'll sort it soon. Thanks for letting us know! :)

In the meantime here's a list of shortcuts you can use:
     :hyper:  :flirt:
    :crying:  :birthday: :chin:
    :d *hug* :grump: :sour: :yippe:
    :yum: :yuck:  :banghead:
      :p ;)
    :( :)

:naughty: :eek2: :crazyeyes :pancake flip: :o

    Hi,

Hi just wondering if any progress been made towards fixing this? I've also noticed that it doesn't work on my Samsung mobile either.

    Thanks

    Hey Apandav :)

Nice one for following this up! It keeps us on our toes ;)

We did look into it, yes. But unfortunately, it looks like it's a compatibility issue between the software the boards are built with and mobile operating systems (iOS and Android). Each system uses a different set of emoji, so to make it all compatible, we'd have to replace all our emjois to standardise them.

For the moment, we don't really have the resources to do that, but it's something we'll add to the list for next time we upgrade :)

Sorry about that! But I hope it makes sense
