Problematic vole...

Okay, so somehow a vole made its way in to my bedroom and is apparently liking the stay. I'm in the process of making a humane trap for it, so in that respect it's being dealt with (though if anyone has any better suggestions I'll be happy to hear them!). But does anyone have any advice on the other things I should be doing? I'm not really sure how long it's been here or where exactly it's been hiding.

Just take it outside and release it. Its a wild animal and the RSPCA would do the same.

Yeah, it got released as soon as I caught it. I guess I was more asking about anything else I should be thinking about (my granddad kept talking about nests and cleaning and a bunch of other things), but I'm pretty sure everything is fine now anyway.

Voles arent fans of houses unlike mice and rats. So i doubt theres a nest
