On Tuesday the 28th, we're inviting comedian and CALM ambassador, Jack Rooke to talk to us about what it's like to be male and to express your emotions. This chat is especially for all you young men in TheSite community although of course, everyone is welcome.

Who's Jack?
Jack Rooke (@jackrooke) is a comedian and campaigner from Watford. He works with male suicide prevention charity CALM, and is the Deputy Editor of their mens lifestyle magazine, The CALMzine.

Jack is also the resident expert in grief and bereavement for BBC Radio 1's Surgery, and was featured on the BBC Radio 1's Guide To Happiness Documentary.

He's currently writing his debut comedy-theatre show Good Grief, to be launched at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Hear more from Jack here:

On Tues 28th 6.45-8pm we're excited to have Jack dropping in to chat to take your questions.

What can I ask about?

Jack's a big fan of creative expression so if you're looking for creative ways to express your thoughts and feelings then he'll be on hand to give you some ideas.

Jack believes in the importance of talking and being open, especially for young men - maybe you find it hard to talk or don't know who to talk to?

Jack is also passionate about demystifying grief and talking openly about bereavement. So if you (or someone you know) are struggling with a loss then he'll be there to make some suggestions on how to cope.

Do you have a question for Jack?

We'd like to gather some questions in advance for this one so that we can manage the flow of topics and questions. Submit your question in advance using our simple form and then we'll come to you on the night to ask it in person. We'll also take LIVE questions on the night so if you want to come along and see how it goes then that's fine too. Advance questions will take priority all depending on how busy we are!

Who is this chat for?

This chat is aimed at young men but it's open to everyone as we can all learn from Jack's insight and experience.

The chat will take place in the Expert Chat Room, just head to the Live Chat page on the night and you'll see a Join button on the right hand side.

See you there :thumb:
