Hey guys, our friends at Ambitious About Autism have sent us the following invite for people with autism to get involved in a film they're making. Here are the deets:
We are looking for young people with autism aged 16-25, who would like to be involved in creating a new film for Ambitious about Autism for
World Autism Awareness Day.
The aim of the film is to raise awareness of what it is like to have autism and dispel common myths. The film will be 60 seconds long and it will be attention grabbing and impactful.
The filming will take place in a film studio in London on Monday 23rd March. We are looking for young people from across the autism spectrum to present common myths to the camera. Through the young people’s reactions to these myths we will learn what the reality actually is. We are working with media company, Silverfish to produce this film and it’s a great opportunity for young people with autism who are interested in film or media to be involved in a great project. The film will be used to raise awareness of autism and will be launched on World Autism Awareness Day.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed and lunch will be provided on the day.
If you are interested in taking part in this opportunity then please contact Kayleigh Wainwright, Participation Manager on 020 8815 5443 or email kwainwright@ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk by Wednesday 18th March 2015.
