ok what intersting, in the news, big things, have happened this year? Its for my art project again, just some ideas would be helpful then i can look them up. Thank u! :)

    Richard Harris's death, was big to me, he was my fave actor.

    sars? that was this year werent it? there was fucking idiots with guns in leicester :( killed a man. Yer this year too much gun crime, youths getting worse. I am one, of course, but I'm a good little boy :p

    errmmmm. America walks out of Kyoto treaty, threatening it worldwide. They need at least 50% of the world to subscribe in order to enforce it. At the moment I think 46% are subscribed to it, Russia may, which would tip the balance over, but things are looking down, with their increased pollution emissions since 2000 (with the economic recovery of the country), it looks like they'd have to pay in the end to subscribe, so what's in it for them? If it doesn't go through it will have awful consequences for the environment :(
