breast cancer

i've found a kinda lumpy bit in my breast, and it hurts when i press it. now, the rest isn't exactly smooth, but it's the fact that this bit hurts... should i be worried? i should be coming on my period soon though so maybe that's got something to do with it, though it's not just an ache like i get sometimes.

i'm just asking here because i can't talk to anyone else i would tell my boyfriend but like... he'd be really worried, and i don't want to worry him for no reason, especially as he's got other stuff to worry about right now.

by the way, yes i've read the factsheet already. i just figured other girls might have had similar experiences they could share.
