To everyone who's just got their A-Level results, what are you going to do next?

If you're going to uni, which uni are you going to? Is anyone coming up to my neck of the woods - Edinburgh?

If you're not going to uni, what are you doing? Gap year? Job?

I'm just nosey, and wondering who I might bump into on Princes street next year :)

    I am going to Leeds to do English and Sociology.

    I just looked at ucas - there's a lovely accepted there!

    I'm going to the University of East Anglia to do Accounting and Finance. My second choice rejected me already (Heriot-Watt), but i rang UEA, and they let me in. Even though i missed my grades by loads. Wooooo!

    I too have the lovely 'accepted' message from UCAS, yay! Scared me cos it's in red font....thought they would chose red for rejected and a more positive colour like green for accepted but anyways:-

    Am off to Uni of Nottingham in September to do psychology :)

    I did really badly so my first choice Uni rejected me, but my second choice had changed my offer to unconditional the other day for some reason so I'm off there - Portsmouth, to study Sociology with Business. :D

    Liverpool to do a masters in Geology :)
    Plus i get my whole £100 insentive they offered me so i'd go cos i got the results they wanted :D
    Its only £100, but its £100 i wouldnt have had, so worth celebrating me thinks.

    i think thats coz unis get the results a few days before we do

    I'm going to the University of Heartfordshire to study Software Systems for the Arts and Media :thumb:

    ...no idea what that is, but I'll figure it out after thre years :p

    I'm going back to college to do a 3rd year. I only did 1 a-level as well as general studies, so need the grades :rolleyes:

    I'm currently scouring the UCAS website to decide where to go.

    Me thinks I'm going to be doing Social Policy and Criminology at..uumm...well I'm looking at Loughborough, Lincoln and Sheffield Hallam at the mo...:nervous: :chin:
