lump on my testicle...im shit scared!

ok there is a sort of lil bump on my right testicle next to the sperm tube and i jsut rad some infomation on this site bout testicle cancer!
and now i feel like i want to crawl into a ball and die!
what should i do?
and what will the docters do it me?
the first time i noticed this was about 6months ago i rmember i got hit accendently hit in the nuts by my gf and i thought it was like a scab inside my ball sack.
i had anti-biootics for something else but when i was taking them the lump got smaller
what is the possibilities of what it is?
any advice would be muchly apriciated

All the doc will do is have a look and a feel, he will know moreoeless straight away wether its anything serious.
Seriously you guys should do regular checks, just like the lasses should check their boobs. Lumps can be just little cysts or something like that but on the other hand they can be something else, so as I say for 30 seconds feeling embarrased is nothing if it saves your life

a) Antibiotics have no effect on cancer, so the fact that the "lump" got smaller should be taken as a good sign
b) If you were hit, then I would suspect that it's likely to be damage rather than a growth.
c) Go see you doctor. This area of your body is more important to you than a little embarrasment, surely?
Im glad you do put your point across. Nobody knows you here, so you can put anything here without feeling ashamed or embarrased, its not like we are your next door neighbours (well we could be but we dont know that) lol ............keep posting :thumb:
Don't mean to sound so rude but.. next time you have a wank touch the lump just before and after you (cough) cum and if it get's harder then it's nothing to worry about. If it just stays the same then you might wanna see your GP.

Itll prolly be part of the tube, but if youre worried get it checked.
Oh, and I can be smug about this cos I got a lump in my penis and got it checked out nearly straight away:p
I've got one there too. A few years ago it was making my testicle ache. I put off going to the docs for a couple of months until I plucked up the courage.
Obviously they have to examine you, but don't worry, they examine people like this day in and day out, it's nothing new to them. The doctor will check the lump.
When I first went I was diagnosed with having an infection. Not an STD infection, just something that can happen. No big deal. I was put on anti-biotics. It started to feel better. However, a few weeks afterwards it started to ache again. So back for another examination. This time a stronger course of anti-biotics. That worked too. However, it came back again.
I visited the doctor again, and was reffered to a specialist. Yep, another examination, and this time my prostate was checked too - yep, that does involve latex gloves and KY! :eek: Not very dignified, but then neither is dying from your own stupidity.
I was sent for an ultrasound scan of my abdomen to make sure all was well, and a blood test. And put on a course of really strong anti-biotics.
That stopped the soreness, so it must've been an infection causing that. However, there was still a lump.
Another examination with the specialist, and he said it was just a cyst. He said it could be removed, but because of where it was it would effectively mean sterilizing that testicle.
It's been ok since. But if it gets knocked, or I sit down a bit funny and it gets squashed, then it can ache occasionally for a day or two. I check it frequently, and it hasn't grown, so all appears well.
So, it may be an infection. A cyst. Or like myself a combination of the two. .....Or it may be testicular cancer - and you won't know yourself, so you'd better get your arse down to the doctor and get checked out fully.
