the cafe thing is proving difficult. this month cannabis was to be downgraded to a class 'c. this was anounced a year ago so we have all waited eagerly to see how it will all be handled ...the bastards have put it off for another twelve months ...why? the real why nobody seems to be able to unearth at the moment. it's a shambles.
whilst some were waiting in curiosity others were waiting to put plans into action. 'PRIVATE SMOKING CLUBS'. nothing to do with the recent nicotine anouncements but that could only help to boost the clubs ...yes the government were notified that the cafe idea wasn't the ideal for this country so when the downgrading happened the emphasis would be shifted to private clubs to take advantage of the new situation that isn't. the government must have realised they were fucked!
the joining fee will be around 25 to 50 quid depending ...the anual membership would be around 50 quid.
by becoming a member you also become a shareholder in the club. any ilegal substances found on the premises will belong to every registered member of the cliub ...
the government have bottled and postponed for a yr. might seem like a loss but in a way it is a victory. they are going to find it almost impossible to back track for long. swiss legalising, canadians doing the same ...the laws of prohibition are crumbling slowly.
despite the setback some people are going to go ahead with their plans anyway and open these clubs before it is downgraded ...every shareholder will have to be represented in court ...legal nightmares!!! legal aid aplications and refusals and apeals against the refusals ...every person with different legal reps who all have differing views over the legality of it all ...in several places at once. the britsh justice system is quite fragile when put under strain ...watch this space over the next 6 months but more so ... july unfortunately.next

the british system will always have flaws in it, why can't they see that cannabis is a victimless crime, it is not like the other harder drugs.
Even though we may want it legalised, if Labour legalised it, they may risk getting their place back at the next election. Its too contraversial. theyre scardy-cats The government are too busy up USAs arse, and too busy trying to be loved by everybody. Britain wont do its own thing, and do whats right for this country.
If, legalising cannabis is indeed right for this country - i dont know! to be honest, i dont even know what im talking about
I believe the country would be better with cannabis made legal, there would be more jobs, better for the ecomony, more time for police to spend on harder drugs and other crimes.
you could argue that they aren't too scared at all with their bombs.
