Anyone wanna recommend some good freeware - would be good to share knowledge on programmes that don't cost anything.
If so post some details of the software, what is does and where to download it from:
For Anti-Virus I'd have to say AVG is the best free one I've used from www.grisoft.com
Oh I'm particulary interested in software that works without installing - if that makes anysense?
I often have to reinstall windows so sometimes it's nice to have a programme that will run from any drive or directory. For exmaple Paintshop Pro 7 works this way.
oh. mailwasher is pretty good for preview emails to delete SPAM
