  Okay, I'm anti-euro but just what exactly was the point of this thread? There's no link to back up the statement, no information not even a detailed reason why you agree with that view. Why do you just copy news headlines into here and start a thread on them? Especially when we already have a Euro thread going already?

  I'm against EMU membership but (in all honesty) there are reason for AND against entry.
  
  WHY would British entry into the single currency raise unemployment or cause recession?
