SO, the Govt are suggesting that access to health care should be restricted for patients who are obese or smoke. THey suggest that these patients should have contracts with their GP agreeing on how they will improve their health....

Story here

So what do you think?

I think making people take responsibility for their health is a good thing,

The doctors can't really dish out good health (although thats what most of expect and want) - thats like expecting them to do your exercise for you

but perhaps charging/contracts is not the best way to do it.

So doctors cry foul as their work becomes more difficult?

People should be free to smoke and obese people aren't necessarily so simply because they eat too much.
