How can I remove hairdye from a persons skin?

I have tried nail polish remover but it doesn't work!

    try shampoo with a bit of sugar in to scrub it off

    I always use permament hair colouring and beleive me I always get bits on my forehead lol. so its either baby lotion, make up remover or cleansing lotion.
    What happens i try one thing it doesent work so try sommat else, so its probably a mixture of them all :lol:

    i use bleach but watered down, careful though as it stains and can be a bit sore on sensitive skin.

    I cant remember how to get it off but if you put Vaseline round your hairline before you do it, the dye wont stain your skin.

    Tip for the future :D

    well for me, its always just washed off after like 2 washes. and it was permant color too.

    my friend told me that cigarette ash gets it off! thats what she used and it worked. I dont smoke though and i use baby lotion.

    if nail polish remover doesnt work try pure acetone (sp?) that might work better.
