Help! I'm getting old!

I went out clubbing last night and I felt so old! Everyone out is 16 year old townies! I'm 23 in 6 months and I think I might have to give up going out and just spend the rest of my days staying watching telly :(

    Aww, don't worry - it's really them who shouldn't be there... us underage kids :blush: It'd be a very sad day if 23 were actually too old to go clubbing!

    I don't think so! I was out last night with my friends and they're closer to 30 and we just ignore the kids. You're not old at all, not even close!

    Perhaps you're just going to the wrong sort of places?

    I used to have a great time going clubbing but now I just feel so old (even though I look 16 myself!), I don't see anyone that's my age! And pulling is a nightmare now, all the blokes are about 17! :lol:

    You're still a young'un Faith. It gets worse when you hit my age!!! I know what you mean though, being able to look around and see people a good few years younger than you. It doesn't bother me now, I carry on drinking :)

    I'm 21 in a few months, and I too can sympathise with the number of 16-year-olds in clubs, at which point I feel old! :D

    Hey, there's nothing wrong with staying in often on Fridays you know, going out aint that good - I'm younger than you yet I hardly ever go out! Although me and my fiance do try to go out ocassionaly, and when we do we make it worth it! :D There's certainly nothing wrong with going out regulary at your age though, if you want to then do so. :)

    Have my sympathy too. I'm coming up to 24 and I know exactly what you mean about all of the clubs and stuff being full of young'uns. I've managed to work out which places attract the young crowd now and do my best to avoid them. This can cause problems though cos a lot of my friends are that little bit younger than me and it doesn't seem to bother them ...... yet. The day will come though.

    I KNOW ABOUT OLD! last night me and the wife stayed in a hotel in southport ...endless whiskey and marijuana. me singing, off my trolly! lots of moving! sex in a cloud and then unconsous. shush. uncons...my fucking back is killing me now!!!

    :no: Nooo way! My sisters 25 and 23 still go out. Okay, so there maybe younger people there, but that shouldnt stop them, or you for that matter, going out. 23 isnt old, not at all. :)
