Nominations close March 7th

Do you know anyone aged between 16 and 25 who’s made an outstanding contribution to the community, environment and sport? If so, you have until next Friday 7 March to nominate them for a major awards scheme sponsored by the UK’s leading leisure company, Whitbread Group PLC.

Whitbread Young Achievers (WYA) aims to celebrate the achievements of young people who’ve really made a difference nationwide. The awards recognise exceptional achievement in three categories: community, environment and sport.

The overall winners in each category will each receive £2,500 for personal and project development, £250 in Leisure Vouchers and, importantly, 12 months’ follow-up support. Three runners-up in each category will all receive £250 and £250 worth of Leisure Vouchers.

The nominations need to include just 200 words describing the work undertaken by the young person and why you’ve chosen to nominate them.

Only young people aged between 16 and 25 are eligible for these awards.
