Nice sunrises and sunsets everyone. They are all so beautiful. I would add some of my own, but I don't think I have any saved on my computer. I don't think I have taken any yet, of sunrises or sunsets yet, with my digital camera. I will have to do that sometime and put them on here.

Anyway, once again, nice pictures of the sunrises and sunsets.

Cheers Daaaam, glad you liked them, and you too MySuffice. It does pay to get up at 4 am sometimes. :)
If you want to see a few more from that day, and a few other pics, then follow this link to more off my landscape pics.
I wish I could spend more time, and money, on taking photos. It's a great relaxing way to spend a day. When you're out, walking in a landscape, going with the feel and mood of the day, chasing the light, patterns, shapes, and shadows, it brings a calming feeling to me. It's good for my soul. :)

There are some gorgeous sunrises over the River Thames/Isis in Oxford.

However I never manage to get picture of them because I'm always on the river coxing when I see them!

    I like that one especially.
    Storms are cool.

The sunrise/sunset over Bradford isn't that inspiring.

Some of the best sunsets I ever saw are at the camp I've worked at for the past 2 summers, absolutely gorgeous, over the lake, the hlls and the greenery, missing it... :crying: Really stunning sunsets in Dominican republic as well. Best nature scene is the lightning storm though, best was one I saw in Dominican Republic last year, I could've stayed all night watching it... :(

Oooo, thank you. I didn't think that day was going to produce anything decent. It was all overcast and grey. As that shot was pre-dawn (just a moment before the sun rose) the scene retains those lovely blue tones. It goes to show that even bad weather conditions can yield great images.

I could never imagine selling or pawning my cameras. I don't take many photos nowadays, but I still like to just get up and go out taking photos sometimes, and it's a great relaxing experience.
