subtle difference???

Something someone else said in another thread sparked me off on a very strange train of thought, and brought me to this question....

What determines one's sexual orientation (i.e. gay, bi, straight); they who turn you on, or they for whom you get excited about turning on, which isn't always the same thing, presumably?

    Both? But more so those which turn you on I would say, if you were female and got turned on by a pair of tits I would say you're a lesbian, or perhaps bi, whereas a female getting off on thinking about turning a female on my not show that their a lesbian or bi, but just that perhaps the excitement to it or something like that? argh I know what I'm trying to say I'm just no good with words.
