    Ahhh the battery fights, memories with ma 2 brothers and sisters, sadly now were all older not the same, but enjoy them while its happening cos it will soon be over,

    I need batteries :( or I can't work my karma chameleon phone! I've tried some that I found but they're a bit dud and are making the song all out of tune! I may take a trip up to Spar which I believe is open on Christmas Day but I think I've drunk too much

    Your mother was probably far too organised for her own good at xmas.
    Kids toys - tend to need around 3654 batteries each. Depending how many toys you get and how many kids in the family - that four pack of duracell you picked up in Tesco's on xmas eve probably isn't going to last too long.
    Therefore, you have almighty argument about who gets the batteries, and therefore gets to actually put their present to use.

    It tended to get quite violent in our house.

    lol some cheeky bugger nicked the batteries out my laser mouse this morning... came to computer and the bloody mouse didnt work. Probably my sister, putting them in her journal thing with the voice password.... the crappy one on tv where it tells you who tried to get into it. So I stole the batteries out my dads laser mouse hehehe
