Just need to know a few technical definitions of drugs for a court case if you can help me....

Speed
Base
E
Coke
Methodone
Lsd
Shrooms(if they have a technical definition other than mushrooms)

The terms that are like metho-o-sumthing-cloride! If that makes any sense.

    coke : cocaine

Speed and base : Anphetamine Sulphate

    E : MDMA

LSD : LSD....These are pretty standard abreviations, ya'know

    methadone : methadone

mushrooms : Well, i don't know the term for the active ingredient, but if you are talking about UK mushies then they are liberty cap.

Why would you need to know this for a court case? More to the point, why would you need to know the full names of the chemicals involved for a court case?

Surely if you are going to court your lawyer should be the one swotting (and the names given above should be enough to tell any judge, lawyer, MD, magistrate the infomation the need).

these are the names... But looking back you are after the "technical definitions"... What is it you mean by that?

Not the sort of court case your thinking off....coroners court i am referring to. Reason why i asked is that when i have to go to the coroners court for the death of my partner, they will not read out 'in his system is coke e's speed' etc they will read out the Medical technical definition type thing, therefore i will not understand what they are refering to as a cause of death, when i would really appreciate knowing.

The results from the toxology reports (i'm guessing like) will be writen as chemicals not drug type but would just like to know so that i understand, which is why i've covered all drugs that he was likely to have come into contact to the night before.

speed/base - amphetamine sulphate, or methamphetamine
    E - MDMA, or methylenedioxy-n-methylamphetamine
    coke - cocaine
    methadone - just methadone
LSD - again, just lsd, or d-lysergic acid diethylamide
    shrooms - psilocybin and/or psilocin
