Why do we do drugs?

So, why do we do drugs?

Is it because we want to fit in with out mates that do them?

To escape from the 'real' world?

To go out and have a good time?

Let me know why you do drugs!!

    The reasons I do drugs......

    I like them.

    They are an escape sometimes.

    I feel more comfortable out doing drugs and dont make such a twat of myself than if I am drinking.

    Its cheaper than drinking.

    I feel through my drug intake it has made me look at the world in a different light, I have friends from different classes and cultures that I would not have had.

    You dont get a hangover.

    But the first one is the main reason becasue they make you feel good, however short lived and "unatural" the sensation I love getting off my tits

    To go out and have a good time.

    In saying that though, I'm not saying I can't have a good time without them.

    If anyone's doing drugs for the first two reasons, to fit in, or to escape, then they're doing it for the wrong reasons.

    i do drugs coz it makes u c wot u really are, we all kno (well maybe most of us) that the real world is very monitinous with a lot of people who will do their best to put u down and pigeon hole u but goin clubbin, swallowing some 'love' it brings everything 2gether, ur up and ur stomping away looking at the person nxt 2 u, smilin and loving it, shame the real world cant be as nice! phew! ;)

    I do dope because it makes me feel good. (although the smoking bit makes me feel bad)

    i try different drugs because i want before i die to have experienced as many different things as possible.

    i continue to do them because they are fun!!!!!

    If anyone's doing drugs for the first two reasons, to fit in, or to escape, then they're doing it for the wrong reasons.

    It's all about escape IMO.

    Sort you life out while you're straight, and then take a break, escape and forget about it for a night. That's what it's all about.

    Problems arise when people can't face up to their problems and feel the need to escape all the time. Drugs are fun because they make us feel different. If you do them all the time, it becomes the norm, and that's where the problems start.

    For me, i do E coz ive so much shit in my life, but on E i don't even think about. Just dancing, having fun, doing my thang and making sure my mates are ok :D:D
