Cystitis sachets

Well, I suffer from this quite a bit, as some of you know, and I use the cystitis relief sachets, which work quite well.

However, I'm sure I read somewhere that you can make them yourself? Anyone know how? Is it bicarbonate of soda in water? I just thought it'd be handy to have some in my flat (for occasions like last night. :()

    yeah, bicarb of soda helps. I tend to keep a spare pack of antibiotics in the house so that i can take them as soon as it starts hurting. Poor you *sympathises greatly*

    bladder infection. Really really bloody hurts. Feels like you need to piss all the time and you can't, and it hurts when you do. Not fun, and can be caused by, oooh... practically anything. It can also make your bladder hurt and spread upto your kidneys, which can cause complications and be dangerous if left. I almost collapsed once cos i didn't get to a doctor in time with it, but the symptoms didn't seem too bad.
