Don't want to go dentist

I think I’ve got the dentist towards the end of the week, and I just don’t want to go because I don’t like it in general and I think just atm while typing this it’s a bit overwhelming because it’s the night before I’m back to work after my day off. I don’t like it, getting poked round my mouth, and it just makes me feel uncomfortable. I just don’t like it, the small talk, getting a mirror stuffed in my mouth, lying there, getting asked questions. I’ve had people make me feel uncomfortable, and I’ve had staff telling me when to drink and I don’t like being told what to eat or drink, especially by some random person. I don’t even know what it is exactly, but I feel like I’m better off just leaving it. I just don’t like going there. I just hate the dentist, and it puts me down. I’m 24 and my uncle makes me go even though I’m an adult, I know he just cares about me but its not like all my teeth are going to fall out and I'll be toothless for not going.

honestly I used to hate the dentist but now I just wish I could go. It’s so hard to get any appointments in my area.

I suppose just think the poking around is uncomfortable and difficult but it means you won’t need more intensive dental care in the future. You can do it!
