Hey @ellie2000, sounds like today was a tough day. Thanks for opening up about it on here. A pacemaker is a medical device that can help someone who has an irregular heartbeat.

Would you like to share more about the meeting you had or how it has made you feel today? We are here to listen to and support you.

That is great that you have your keyboard to use as a distraction - what songs/music can you play?

@Billie i play nightwish songs, swan lake, sabaton songs all on guitar setting.

r care companies supposed to hold grudges? therefore u dont hav daily visits?

Amazing! Being able to play those songs is such a great skill and must be a lovely way to distract yourself and relax.

If carers are supposed to come and see someone everyday then they should be there. The Mix community team will sent you a DM to check in with you further.

@ellie2000 I’m really sorry today felt difficult. It sounds like a lot was going on. Things like reading about DARVO and thinking about the meeting can stick with you and make everything feel more heavy.

Playing keyboard and getting into those songs sounds like a really nice way to distract yourself and take your mind off things for a short while.

About the care company, I do not think they are meant to hold grudges or take support away as their role is to support you consistently and fairly. If your visits have changed, you deserve a clear explanation, and it is completely okay to ask them about it or have someone help you ask if that feels easier.

It’s okay to not have everything figured out at the moment and you are not alone in this.
