Happy Mother's day!

Today, Sunday 15th March 2026, is Mother's Day across the UK.

Happy-Mothers-day.jpg

This is a day where we take some time to celebrate our Mum's and recognise all of their hard work and dedication to their children. Motherhood is never straightforward, and is an experience which is so different from mother to mother. We wanted to recognise all of the mothers, particularly those who are bringing up their children alone or navigating difficult parenting circumstances, whatever that may be, as that takes some incredible strength which is often under-appreciated. Today is a day to appreciate our own Mum's efforts, and for those here who are Mum's, to reflect on your own parenting journey.

We are also aware that Mother's Day is not always a time filled with happiness and joy. It can be a day filled with difficult emotions, including grief, devastation and loneliness. We know that these emotions can be intense, and incredibly challenging to get through, on a day specifically dedicated to mothers. Today is a day to allow yourself to feel and process these emotions, and maybe reflect on happier times, if that feels right for you. Just a reminder that we're always here to listen and support if things are feeling extra heavy today.

Whatever today looks like for you, remember you're not on your own in this!
