Hey all!
-
Following on from @kaii's decision to leave The Mix in order to focus on other commitments in her life, we noticed a few of you shared some positive feedback about the monthly achievement threads that used to happen. We've taken inspiration from @kaii and decided that this should be continued every month. We're going to aim to open a new achievement thread on the last Thursday of the month, leaving the thread open over the following weekend to allow us all some time and space to reflect on what we've achieved that month (or 2 months in this case).

As with how it used to work before, these achievements can be anything, anything at all, no matter how big or small they may seem. We value all of your achievements and are here to recognise and celebrate those with you!
-
So, what does everyone feel they have achieved so far in 2026?
-
Here's mine:
- Started as a Community Officer here at The Mix in January, and felt so welcomed by you all - thank you so much for that, it's been great so far!
- Going to the gym regularly, to help with my physical fitness, as well as finding some focus and a space to de-stress when things get too much
- Finding a good sleep schedule that works for me and helps me to maximise the amount of rest I feel and how positive I feel the next morning
-
Can't wait to hear all of your achievements for the past two months, no matter how small or big they seem!

Kais going to be so extremely missed 😢. Good hearing your achievements too as a community staff member @Callum , I didnt know you go gym too. For me
Ive held my job down for both January, February and a bit of December too
Ive increased my savings a bit
Got used to my new routine which is hard, I get up 6am 6 days a week, thats a big jump from only a few months ago I was getting up significantly later.
Ive become more confident like I have a purpose and a bit of a routine now
I also feel like I've somewhat settled in to the job now, got used to things and feel I'm making less mistakes, I may make some, im still kinda new, a few months and it is less
Anyway, hope i don't jinx it and its upwards from here, I wanna get into something else closer to home and more hours but its a great start, 2.5 hours a day, this eases me in like I don't see anything wrong with catching up on sleep when I get back.
Thanks for posting this though Callum, putting this down can help recongise our achievements, I think it helps me
