has anyone ever heard of heron foods? tbh with you until recently i didnt even know it existed. i think its because the nearest heron foods shop is over 20 miles away from me which is shocking. surely if they sell cheap foods they should at least open one near me.

I've heard someone mention it on the chats, never been to one though. I have a home bargains where I live though which is similar to a heron.
Heron is insanely cheap. Like, crazy levels of cheap. 3 500ml bottles of coke zero for £1, and a 2 litre bottle of pepsi max for £1 for example some of the time. The other day, the had 12 cans of coke zero for £2.
yeah i have a home bargains thats close to me too.
yeah i was looking at their website in shock because of how cheap their food is. its sad that they dont have one close to me though.
Yh, theres some near me, I think its like Iceland or Farmfoods but a budget one, it's ok and cheap too
yeah thats good
We used to have a Herons Foods in my area and it would super cheap for stuff. I always used to be able to get ice creams that you wouldent normally get in the UK for so cheap and honestly it would be the best.
Sadly our heron closed down then became a temporary Halloween costume shop. Now it's just an empty space building which has got nothing inside it. It's a shame they don't put a heron foods back in there because it did so well.
thats unfortunate. heron foods has really good deals so there should be more of them.
Just went again. 79p for a 2 litre bottle of Fanta, and £1 for 8 cans of schweppes lemonade.
nice thats a steal.
Yeah it's kinda very sad actually we haven't got one anymore. Though to be fair I am not really surprised with my local area because a lot of shops don't last long or end being temporary. I just wish we had something in that shop now rather than it just collecting dust and being used as a temporary place to hold events and stuff. Heron was also great at Christmas time because I was able to get a lot of food and stuff for over the festive period.
I did enjoy when it was a Halloween shop but it was only open over October and then after that closed. But its not very convient in the long term.
My local area is pretty much a ghost town with only a few shops and things.
that sucks
