What should we watch 12:00–2:00pm on Christmas Eve?! Help us decide!!

What is a Watch Party and how does it work?
If you're new to Boards or Community, Watch Parties take place within ChatWee, the same platform we use to conduct our group Chats in the evenings: https://client-mhi.chatwee.com/popout/66eb761d589dca7a414ec351.

We'll all jump into the Chatroom, say hello to each other, and then, on a separate Internet window, load up the film we've chosen (most often will be on BBC iPlayer or ITVX).

We'll then each press 'play' at the same time and watch together, commenting along together in Chatwee!

    What Grinch film are we watching? There is the one with Jim Carrey and the awful Illumination one both on ITVX.

    Good question @so_very_tired ! I think we meant "The Grinch" which is the animated one voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch but if the majority would prefer "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" which is the Jim Carrey one we can do that instead!

    Hi @Katie for this, I’ll try to join the next watch party but I think I’ll come across the same issue as I currently I’m using my works wifi and server as the accommodation I’m in (staff accommodation at work) won’t have WiFi till the new year. I’m gutted I can’t participate in these currently

    Ah okay yes that makes sense @Lottie5433. Sorry to hear the server doesn't seem to like you being on the chat - that sounds really frustrating. Hopefully if you're still interested you'll be able to join the Watch Parties we might be running next year once your wifi has been sorted out!

    @MorgsSmiles24 I think there's a watch party on Saturday. I ended up oversleeping for this one and missed it too.
