Getting into the festive Spirit 🎄

It's that time of year again where we celebrate all things merry and bright.

This Christmas, has come super fast and I can't believe how quick 2025 has flown as well.

Lots of people celebrate Christmas in many many different ways whether it's traditional style or even something completely fresh and new. I'd love to hear how you celebrate Christmas and what some of your favourite things are.

For me I love getting to cosy up indoors in the warmth with a nice hot chocolate (marshmallows are a bonus too), watching a Christmas movie or something that feels Christmassy. I also love the food and getting to spend time with my family too.

How do you celebrate Christmas. Comment down below.

Christmas for me looks different this year and I’m kinda nervous for it.

I enjoyed the predictability of it and having our household routine but this years it’s all different and I don’t like change too much.

I enjoy just sitting down in a blanket with my dog and family watching a movie or playing any new games we got whilst enjoying a warm drink (warm juice for me)

I’m unsure how this Christmas is going to go, all I can say is it’s going to be busy

I'm not the biggest of christmas celebrators to be fair - i prefer the more chilled lowkey vibes to it all. I have put my little christmas tree up in my room though to try and get into that festive spirit a bit more, and will probably watch some christmas movies or read some christmas themed books when i can as it gets closer to christmas :3

I agree with @sinead276 in that I prefer christmas to be more low-key, it feels less stressful that way. However the best part of christmas for me is actually the week before when I get to wrap the presents for my parents with my favourite music in the background - wrapping presents makes me really happy lol, and I love giving presents just as much as receiving them.

    Hey @Amy22 love this post!

a hot chocolate and christmas movies sounds so cosy! Food is the best part, I'd say mine is the time, I'm wondering what christmas film to watch this year, any recomendations?

@Lottie5433 I completely understand that it can feel overwhelming when things are busy and different from your usual routine. Just take one step at a time and remember it's okay to carve out little moments for yourself, even if it's just a quiet cup of tea or just a moment to reflect, despite all the chaos!

Thank you @Verity, it’s only different this year coz it’s my first year with my boyfriend so we are splitting Christmas between like 5 places (my mums, my sisters, his place, his mums and his nans) so it’s just a lot to do across 2 days and then working that week myself and only having Christmas Day and Boxing Day off it just seems like a lot and with a social battery that drains quickly it just seems like I won’t enjoy the festive period.
