October 2025 achievements!

kaiikaii Posts: 657 Incredible Poster
Hello everyone - hope you've all had a lovely start to your November!

I'm back again for the monthly achievement check-in! I'd really love to hear what you've all been up to in October that's made you proud! Of course, it doesn't matter how big or small your achievements are - what really matters is the impact! I hope that acknowledging our victories can contribute to improved mental wellbeing <3

Here are mine:
- I inflated my car tyres at a petrol station which I was so worried about, turns out that it wasn't so bad after all! I was so worried that they would explode because of me hahah
- I'm still volunteering at the ward and I'm happy that I've been working with the staff there to get new resources for the patients, so they've been able to participate in activities more!
- I completed this year's Inktober art challenge, where I drew something that related to the prompts each day, just using my ballpoint pen! It was incredibly fun =)

Huge well done for getting through October everyone! You're all amazing!

Hope you all have a wonderful November :3

Good achievements @kaii , inflating car tyres can be a bit fiddly.

    Mine are

Attending my course I had which was like information about jobs, covering cover letters, tailored cvs to jobs etc, I was unfocused sometimes but still went

I had 2 interviews, got declined from bothbbut had them both in the same week, its not October anymore but I'm currently waiting for my 3rd, Ive not had that many interviews in a short amount of time. 1 of them was only once a week anyway so a blessing in disguise I didn't get it as it wont have been finacially worth it considering commuting and fuel.

My key worker has referred me onto a work programme that apparently gets you into work within 30 days and I had to just be like I don't feel like anything is working so was like help me basically so I am hopefully soon going to be seeing someone to help me get into work

Im still keeping going despite everything

Contacting recruitment agencies which I would have struggled with doing myself months ago especially a year ago, I would have had to get my uncle to ring for me

@Redemption, thank you so much for sharing!

I'm incredibly proud of you for getting 2 interviews - it's so amazing that you've managed to get to this stage! It shows that you're learning and improving from your previous applications! I hope the work programme will be helpful for you, I wish you all the luck. Also well done for contacting recruitment agencies yourself! So glad that you've developed the confidence to do this :3

So proud of you for not giving up despite everything being difficult - I hope you have a lovely November <3

Thank you for sharing your achievements @Nemuritai!

You're absolutely right, just getting through the month is a huge achievement itself! It's lovely to have you here in our community, and I'm so happy to hear that supporting people has helped you yourself! It's also amazing that you're listening and being kind to yourself too, since it can be easy to push ourselves too hard.

I hope you have a great November! <3

I bought a walking stick in October to help me get around due to my condition. After a couple of months of contemplating, at first I felt really conscious using it, like everyone was watching/ judging me for being a young person with a mobility aid. After using it a few more times, I feel more confident, and I am putting my needs over any else's opinions.
