(Trigger Warning Mentions Of Alcohol) Hawkstone Lager Review

TW, mentions of alcohol

Minimalist label, black with gold writing, but I like it. I would have preferred cans, I only saw bottles. 330 ml, pretty much the usual size. Bottles are smaller, therefore healthier to be fair. £8.50 for 4, so a bit expensive, but I can understand why. Jeremy Clarkson’s popular for Top Gear. 4.8% alcohol by volume. Tastes similar to most lagers, nothing revolutionary but nothing wrong with that.

Anyway this is just a light hearted type post as I wanted to try this beer as Im a fan of Jeremy Clarkson and saw he released a beer so have wanted to in a while, to anyone who drinks, drinks responsibility please, anyone who needs some support here's a link

Sounds like you enjoyed this one @Redemption ! The design of the label feels so cool and minimalist. Is writing food / drink reviews something that you're passionate about?

@Redemption Niiiiice the bottle is sick actually, I didnt think it would look so sleek. I also think cans go down nicer than bottles, but bottles are satisfying to pour out into a glass. Glad you got to try it and thank you for doing the review!! Sounds like it was worth the purchase

@Leyla the only drink that's better out of a bottle is coke, I fucking love cafes that sell coke in those glass bottles!! It is superior and will always be!! My mum prefers bottled beer tho, she drinks the light version of corona which you can only get in bottles, it serves her well as she likes a beer but doesn't like strong drinks

The glass bottles of coke which I always call fancy coca cola is always the best. I do love the can version too especially on a warm day. I was in tesxo getting my meal deal and I think I saw a pack of glass coke bottles in the fridge, so tempted but I told myself no 🤣 cause I was supposed to be back in work 😂. Might be a nice gift for the office later on during Xmas season. I don't normally drink alcohol or lager as much unless it's cider which I do enjoy or like cocktails or bucksfizz which I adore.
