Question

I did not know where to put this so I am just going to say it here.

I have been given something to fill out, they know about my vision and stuff but the issue is they did try but they did not do it good enough for my vision so I can't read what I am having to fill out.

And I can't get in contact with them at all as office is closed till the time these forms have to be handed in.

If you know anything that would help.

What kind of screen reader is it you use, and what kind of document is it you're needing to fill out? I'm assuming it's on your computer?

I find I'm ok with ordinary word documents but PDF are a nightmare with almost all screen readers.

I should add that the only ones I have any experience with are voiceover, jaws and NVDA, so if it's a different one, my knowledge will be limited I'm afraid

Yeah some documents that need filling out are on computer, but I have some reason also received some forms I need to do on paper form which they should already know I can't do.

Document on computer I am trying to fill out are just some basic permission forms, and medical information form.
    Using NVDA

You might need a hand with the paper forms, and give them a right telling off for next time because paper forms is madness for a VI person.

If the documents are word documents, you should just be able to fill them in with NVDA. But without seeing them it's tough to say as some of them have a funny layout which makes it annoying.

Oh yeah I will Don't worry, u specifically told them I can't do things on paper as it isn't accessible for me and they said okay and still sent me paper forms to do so when the office opens to hand in the paper forms I will be telling them.

Ah yeah to be fair I think they have done it in a weird layout. I will figure something out, may just get someone to ready them to me just like how someone will have to for my paper forms.

I mean it is just ridiculous how they asked me if I needed anything doing to help with my impairment so I told them everything and they still mess it up. It does get annoying after a number of times.

Anyway thank you for your help.
