Ahead of Men’s Mental Health week next month, we’re excited to share that we’ve teamed up with the JD Foundation (the charity arm of JD Sports and the JD Group) to create spaces that feel relatable and supportive.
From podcast episodes where JD team members open up about their own mental health journeys, to street chats with young men across the UK, this partnership is all about getting people talking about something that really matters: our mental health.
Right now, nearly 6 in 10 young men say anxiety or depression are their biggest mental health challenges - but asking for help can still be one of the hardest steps to take. That’s why JD Foundation have partnered with us to offer a space where young men can feel supported, heard, and understood.
Starting
Monday 9th June 8pm-9:30pm, we’re launching a brand-new
Support Chat focused on
Men’s Mental Health- the first of
two new chats funded by the JD Foundation. We’ll be sharing more details soon about the second one launching in July.
Whether you're:
- feeling overwhelmed by uni, work, or relationships
- dealing with anxiety or stress
- or just here to support others
- you’re not alone, so please join our support spaces.
Also, feel free to start a thread, share your experience, or reply to someone who might need a little support. Sometimes, even just saying “I’ve been there too” can make a huge difference.
If you're new and do not have an account on Chatwee where the chats take place, you'll need to sign up for an account
here which only takes a couple of minutes!
Here is our chat schedules as we run multiple a week on top of this one in partnership with the JD Foundation!
