So as most of you know I have functional seizures due to my FND (non epileptic seizures) I also have PCOS polycystic ovaries I’ve been trying for around 2 years to lose weight only managed to lose 1 stone in 2 years but the doctor has said it’s harder to lose weight for someone who has PCOS the reason behind why I have no idea I had PCOS before FND but now I’m 18 I can legally take weight loss medication which I am going to my mum talked about medexpress so I had a look filled out the questionnaire and they give me medication specifically for my situation so I thought great amazing I was about to order it today but they needed ID to prove I was 18 my mum has my passport as I don’t have a driving licence for obvious reasons she wouldn’t tell me where my passport was because she wants to go to the doctors and get advice because this website doesn’t know I have seizures which whatever fine but I know they going to say no I’m so scared they going to say no but I hate my stomach I really really do it makes me sick looking at myself I have to do something before it ends up getting worse so doctors it is tomorrow but I have a terrible feeling they going to say no😔

    hey @Summerjune15
I can hear how frustrating and disheartening it must have been to have your mum react that way, especially when you were so close to getting a medication you believe could really help. It sounds like she cares deeply about your health and is concerned about potential side effects, but I can also see just how important this medication is to you—especially if she felt she had to hide your passport. That shows a lot about how determined you are to start taking it.

It’s really good to hear that, despite all the uncertainty around what the doctors might prescribe, you’re still pushing through and going to your appointment. I really hope they take your concerns seriously and listen to how you feel this medication could positively impact your life.

Did you end up going to the appointment today? How did it go for you?
