The Never-ending Story

Hey folks, so I've had an idea!

Did you ever play that game when you were younger where you'd be in class at school or together with a group of mates and together you'd create a story, one line at a time?

The way this works was that one person would begin, e.g. "Once upon a time there was a house"....and then the next person would add one sentence, "The house was deep inside a dark forest and was home to a witch".....and then the next person would carry on, "The witch had been banished to the forest for 50 years, until, a magical elf set her free!" (you get the picture,... please don't judge my story haha!)

Would you like to play along!?

I was thinking I could kick us off in the thread below, and then one by one you could add a one-line addition to the story and we can see how long and elaborate and fantastical we can make this tale!

    Reading this, Freddy's heart sank. He'd heard of the three magic rainbow gummy rings once before in an online legend. They were buried at the bottom of Atlantis city....

    But Freddy couldn’t swim, he had tried it once before however looked like a floppy fish 😂 so instead he bought a submarine

    but when he tried to start the submarine, his pet duck quackers accidentally sat on a leaver and it broke so the submarine wouldn’t go anywhere

    Quackers then decided to call for the mermaids help and started singing a lovely tune
    “I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves,
    Everybody's nerves,
    Yes, on everybody's nerves.

    And this is how it goes...” (repeats forever)

    Freddy then decided to smack him with a fish

    The mermaids then turned up and helped Freddy and Quackers with their little submarine problem and gave them a new eco friendly engine run on seaweed!. But then the fish got bored and decided to have some fun.

    Poor Quackers was traumatised by Freddy getting eaten. "I will avenge you dear Freddy and I shall find those three rainbow gummy rings and take down the fish while I'm at it". Little did Quackers know, the fish was actually planning to find the three rainbow gummy rings too and was plotting to take over the world with his small army of fish.
