TW// I just give up

I just give up, I genuinely just give up. I’m tired, I’m tired of surviving, I’m tired of having to tell people what they want to hear. I just want to scream and cry the truth out but now I can’t do that cis that’s attention seeking so guess it’s staying bottled up.
Don’t tell me I’m not an attention seeker
Don’t tell me I’m not an attention seeker
Sometimes when the people most like you don't love you, it is a hurt that can cause the greatest pain, and this pain can lead you to hate everything.

i hear you and how you are feeling is so valid - everything seems so difficult for you at the moment and you don’t deserve to be going through all of this:( if screaming and crying is what you feel you need to do right now, then scream and cry, it’s totally ok to do so!
i know that you hate the question but you matter so much, are you feeling safe today?
again, i know that you haven’t had many positive experiences when reaching out for support that you are very deserving of, but i’m just going to pop some helplines here in case, and remember support chat is on today from 1:30-3pm too!

you’ve got this river
i know you’ve had bad experiences in the past @River and it’s totally understandable that you now feel that helplines don’t give a shit because of those experiences, and i’m sure many people feel that same way as you - there are several people on helplines who really shouldn’t be in such roles for sure as they aren’t at all supportive, but there are also people there that do genuinely care and want to help you - i think it’s just a case of luck, whether you get through to someone who is genuinely supportive or someone who has no interest unfortunately, but that’s not at all how it should be:(
we’re here for you on boards if you want to talk more about how you feel river
Thank you for letting @eylah know that physically you are safe. Can I check how safe you're feeling this afternoon too, and how practically you are keeping yourself safe when you're also coping with these thoughts and feelings?
Like @shannon_164 said, if your body is craving being able to scream or cry, it sounds like that might be a part of what you need right now - to be able to find some release and make some of these feelings heard. And that is so, so valid.
We're here for you, and I wonder what today is looking like in terms of your mental health?
