❤️🩹 Struggle with self harm? Read this!!! ❤️🩹

Hey everyone,
I’m guessing you’re reading this because you struggle with self harm? That’s okay, it’s an extremely valid coping mechanism for things and whilst I won’t tell you to stop as that’s not helpful at all I do have something that helps me 💕
1) Firstly, we all know self harm is an addiction so let’s name that addiction as if it was a human!
- What are you going to call yours ?
(Mine is called Aliki 😌)
2) as we are treating it like it’s a human let’s ask it why it’s here 💕 so whatever name you chose to call it you will say;
- *name* why are you here?
- Why do I need to *name*
And just sit and reflect on that, no answer is silly, don’t be ashamed for the reasons why you self harm!

So now you should have:
< a name
< the reason(s) why you self harm
3) now let’s establish what your self harm wants, does it want nurture? Love? Care? It can be anything!
- *name* what do you truly want?
- *name* what are you missing?
Again sit and reflect on that for a few minutes, no need to rush 💕 you’re doing so well to get this far!
4) let’s help the self harm, let’s help it feel better!

So now we are at the end you should have:

< the reason(s) you self harm
< what your self harm needs
< ways to help your self harm
