    Hi

Thank you for sharing this. I want to first assure you that you should never feel stupid for getting anxious about things,, sometimes anxiety has weird ways of showing up and that is completely ok.

You don't sound ungrateful at all, it can be really difficult to deal with feelings of anxiety and you are not alone.

It sounds like at the moment your anxiety is feeling quite overwhelming, do you think talking to someone could potentially help, like with your older sister? Or maybe if you feel comfortable to, you could talk to you parents with how your struggling to "keep up with life" as they may be able to offer some extra support.

If not I often find writing down what is stressing me out helps me feel less overwhelmed by all my thoughts.

    You've got this <3

Hey thank you for opening up about this. You don't sound stupid or ungrateful at all, and you're definitely not alone in this.
I can relate to the anxiety you feel about this a lot. I've found that doing my own washing helps as it helps me to feel less anxious about my clothes being mixed up with other people's. I also use Vinted as I've found duplicates of some of my favourite comfort clothes, so I know if something did happen to my clothes, then I have a backup. I also use Vinted to sell some of my clothes, as I tend to buy things and never wear them!
Do you think it could be helpful to open up to your family about how you feel? We're here to listen to you and want you to know you're not alone in this <3

Hey, how are you doing? I wanted to echo what's been said above here and to say that it is totally valid that this is bringing you anxiety. It sounds like you're worried about your clothes going missing or knowing how to organise and arrange your clothes too.

How have things been feeling this week when it comes to your clothes?

I wonder how aware your family are about how the currenbt laundry system is making you feel? Might there be a way for you to get a little bit more control or oversight into how the laundry is getting done?

We're here for you to explore this together!

like the others have all said - you're perfectly justified to feel anxious over this issue and youre feelings are completely valid. I know myself having sisters too that the laundry is somewhat of a nightmare since we are all similar sizes etc and i have had numerous occasions of things going missing or ending up with someone elses clothes so i know how stressful it can be. For me, despite everyones clothes being washed together in my house, I can often be the one who sorts the clothes out into each persons stuff, just to ensure myself that i get my things back.

i think the ideas above are good ways of managing your anxiety- either talking to someone you feel comfortable with or even journalling can be useful in getting the thoughts and stresses that are in your head out into the open.

hope you're feeling okay today and not too anxious and remember we are all here to support you too if you need to talk more about it

    sending hugs
    Sinead
