    I just got a lot of exam results back, nothing super important as I haven't done my gcses yet, but the school big them up to sound important

    exam results can bring such mixed feelings, but remember no exam result will ever define you! i know schools tend to act as if the world will end if you don’t do well in an exam but the reality is, that’s not at all the case - other than when applying for a college course, ive never ever once been asked how i done in an exam and ive had 6 jos & 5 voluntary roles so far, who you are and your attitude etc is much more important. how are you feeling about the results? if you want to share ofc!

    well I guess im pleased, I go to a private school and therefore there are very smart people who get ridiculously high grades, but its just like what now? I studied so hard for these exams, and if I wasn't revising I would feel really guilty, and so now I just don't know what to do?

    i totally get what you mean, it’s like you’ve been running on this intense schedule for so long, and now that it’s over, there’s this weird empty feeling. you worked so hard, and it’s ok to feel a bit lost now that the pressure’s lifted. you don’t have to jump straight into “what’s next”, it’s ok to rest, to take a breather, and just exist without guilt for a bit! you’ve earned that.

    i’m really proud of you for sitting the exams and working so hard for them <3

    thanks so much, the rest of this week will be getting results so I will definitely be on here a lot, my mental health is not great but has been a lot worse so im doing ok in the grand scheme of foxglove :3

    i hope that the results go well, but whatever happens, you are so much more than a grade in an exam!

    if you want to talk about what’s going on in terms of your mental health not being great, feel free to do so, i’m here to listen, or if you want to talk about something completely different, that’s ok too - whatever you need we’re here and we care <3

    aw that’s a shame you can’t join! there are also some general chats during the day - i think it’s mondays / fridays - if those would work for you, as well as support threads during the day on saturdays / sundays!

    there’s obviously lots of active members on here who will definitely reply to any threads etc you make, but feel free to tag me if you wanna chat anytime and i’ll try to reply - i work silly shifts in an airport so my schedule is incredibly random haha but ive now finished college for summer so have a lot more free time yay

    @foxglove I hear you on that “what do I do now?” Feeling after exam results. You put so much energy into them and suddenly they’re over and it’s a case of what now.
