    updateeee:))

after it taking a LOT for me to even go in, the examiner was literally arguing with me over access arrangements telling me i wasn’t allowed to leave the room on rest breaks even though i literally asked my learning support officer once again this morning am i definitely going to be able to leave the room, which he responded to with “That will be fine for you leaving the room for rest break, that is usually what they expect so all good there” so yeah idk why the examiner was like soo against it lol whenever i then was trying to ask for a rest break, he was ignoring my existence quite literally - i was sat with my hand up for a good 2-3 mins before he even acknowledged me like helloooo? there was only 4 people in the room too so it wasn’t as if it was a massive group he was supervising.

the actual exam though, btec done well this time round haha - the paper was absolutely beautiful!! 10 mark questions on piaget’s theory of cognitive development, bandura’s social learning theory, chomsky’s language acquisition device, the impacts of low income on health and wellbeing & the impact of returning to education in early adulthood - what a DREAM!!

the only question i struggled with to be honest was the question about later adulthood (the content i was least vibing with) so the 6 marker on that content was a no from me but i just decided to write down about the social disengagement theory & the activity theory as they were in relation to later adulthood so i thought better to write that and maybe pick up a mark or two than leave it blank.

overall, i love you btec thank you for a pretty paper (especially compared to the horrific one we got in january hehe)

Omg that examiner sounds awful, that’s ridiculous, I’m so sorry.

But well done for going in and doing it! Proud of you <3

I’m glad the paper was good, I had a few exam papers like that too - the kind where you think the questions couldn’t have been better and they must have read your mind about what you wanted in it. Always better to write something, you can pick up marks in all sorts of places that you don’t necessarily expect.

Defo have a word with learning support about that examiner. They should not be arguing with you about clearly set access arrangements.
