I relapsed…again and I know the port of call is to tell Janis to get first aid at college but the thought of it fills me with dread imagine when she asks why I did it and I just say over a fucking stupid letter…I’m gonna come across so pathetic ffs

i’m really sorry you’re going through this. you are not pathetic at all, please don’t be so hard on yourself. relapses happen, especially when you’re overwhelmed, and whatever triggered it (even if it feels “small” to you) clearly meant something. pain is still pain, no matter what caused it.
i know talking to janis might feel terrifying, but she’s there to help, not to judge. you don’t owe anyone a perfect explanation, just honesty and care for yourself. if a letter hurt you, then it hurt you. that matters, and you matter, even when it doesn’t feel that way.
sending you so much love
you've probably heard this be said before, but recovery is never a simple straight line. set backs happen and it is all part of the journey. what matters is how you pick yourself back up and try again. we are all super proud of you for your recovery journey.
To check in this morning, how are you feeling about everything after a day has passed? Did you get the first aid support you needed at college from Janis?
The community is here for you, you're doing great to keep going
