    hey @bignosegirly0 🙂

i don’t think there’s anything wrong with your smile - you have such a pretty smile! it’s important to remember everyone is beautiful in their own ways <3

Hey @bignosegirly, thank you so much for making this post and for your trust in sharing a photo with us, when I hear that having your photo-taken feels vulnerable.

I wonder what makes you feel that smile lines or a 'gummy smile' would be negative, or something to be gotten 'rid' of? It sounds hard to look at your own appearance and to see parts of yourself that you might feel ought to be 'fixed' or 'changed', when in fact your body deserves the freedom to exist exactly as it does!

And I wonder what it might feel like to experiment with looking at a photo of yourself and trying to speak kindly to yourself? Even if it's being able to name something such as - "Oh look, here I am at my family event. I went along, and I took part, and I was there for my loved ones! :star: " Or, "I'm finding it hard to look at myself right now. And that's okay. I can struggle and still speak kindly to me, because I exist as I am and that is enough".

@bignosegirly0 , it feels really positive here that you're able to name a few things that you admire about yourself, while also acknowledging that there are other parts of your appearance that you struggle with.

That's okay, and it's so valid to feel down about how we look sometimes. You're doing really well to talk about these feelings aloud :star:
