i can see why this is stressing you out! based on what you said, it sounds like your boyfriend didn’t technically do anything wrong, you two were talking, but not officially together yet. it makes sense that your sister is protective, especially given her past experiences, but her trust issues don’t have to define your relationship.
it sounds like she’s projecting her own feelings onto your situation, which is understandable, but ultimately, this is your relationship, not hers. the real question is:
-how do you feel about it?
-do you trust your boyfriend now?
-do you feel secure in your relationship with him?
that is what matters most! also, no pressure to answer these questions here - if it would help to answer them here, ofc do that, but if it’s something you just want to think about in your mind or answer elsewhere, then that is totally ok.
its good to listen to your sister’s concerns, but at the end of the day, her experiences aren’t the same as yours. if you feel happy and secure with him, then that’s what you should focus on. i hope you can try not to let her opinions shake your confidence in your own feelings.
