NES non epileptic seizure disorder

Friday I was taken to the hospital by an an ambulance because I kept going in and out seizures and holding my breath doing the seizures and was in the passenger seat in the car I would say what happened that day but I have no clue but I’ve been in hospital since Friday and today I got diagnosed with NES non epileptic seizure disorder and I was aloud to go home but they wanted to assess my legs before I left I can feel them but I can’t walk and for safety reasons I’m not aloud to go home without a wheelchair crutches are to dangerous incase of a seizure and I’m just really upset I was really happy when I had answers and a diagnosis and then it all came crashing down when I’ve been told I can’t go home

that sounds like such a rough and overwhelming experience, i’m really sorry you’re going through this. i can completely understand why you’d feel upset. getting a diagnosis can feel like a relief, but then having this extra challenge thrown at you right after must be so frustrating.
i know it’s not what you wanted, but i hope you’re getting the care and support you need while you’re there. you’re not alone in this, and we’re all here for you if you need to talk or just want some distraction. you’ll get through this, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.
i’m so so proud of you - you’ve got this
