February 2025 achievements!

kaiikaii Posts: 598 Incredible Poster
Happy March everyone! How are you all? <3 hope February has been great for you all!

I’m slightly late, but I’m back again for a community monthly achievement check-in! I think noting down our victories, no matter what shape or size they are, is so important for our mental wellbeing. Positive mental health can in turn help us to enjoy life, and persevere through challenges. Please feel free to write as many achievements as you wish! :3

Here are mine:
- I reached out to my supervisor about my exam results which I was scared to do, but she was extremely helpful in giving me support and was very understanding :)
- I wasn’t feeling mentally great this month, so I’m proud of myself for writing my feelings down in my journal and accepting them the way they are
- I have become more forgiving towards myself whenever I make mistakes, which has helped me change how I perceive events that happen to me

As always, you’re all doing an incredible job and I am so so proud of you all <3

I hope that March will be lovely for you all, I can’t wait for more sunshine and spring! <3

@Katie12 that’s such an amazing opportunity wow! How has it been at the NHS placement? I’ve also just started an volunteer role for the Sussex Partnership NHS, I had my first shift yesterday! I do agree that the whole process to get started is quite long and challenging, so I’m so glad that you finally got started! Wish you all the best with your placement! :3<3

@kaii , thank you so much for sharing this with us. Reading your achievements has brought me the biggest smile. It sounds daunting to have reached out to your supervisor and yet you did it! And I'm so glad they were helpful.

And then it feels really lovely to hear you say that you are proud of yourself for writing down your feelings during a month when you haven't felt great mentally. And also, that you've been working on being more forgiving to yourself. It sounds like you've been really wanting to give yourself a bit more space and grace, which feels so positive. What a way to show yourself compassion!

For me, this month I'm proud of myself for deepening some of my friendships - showing up for friends, and opening up to them too. It's felt so nice to feel my community growing <3
